Tax Accountant

We are actively recruiting high-level Tax Accountants with the ability to hit the ground running in a corporate tax position. This position will require a strong background working in large revenue Tax Departments and/or in Public Accounting. The ideal candidate for our Valley client is an aggressive thinker with a strong foundation in the tax skill set. This organization and position offer excellent growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Research and resolution of tax related issues and develop programs to maximize tax objectives
• Preparation and review of Federal state and other various tax filings
• Review tax depreciation
• Federal and State compliance
• Preparation of various tax calculations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Communicate complex tax information with various departments
• Prepare annual tax reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Taxation, Accouting or Finance
• CPA required
• 5+ years in tax accounting role, within public accounting preffered
• Strong background in multi-state tax
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex tax issues
• Knowledge of and experience in working with FAS 109 and FIN 48 analysis, a huge plus
• Experience with large ERP
• International exposure a plus
