Accounting Manager

Our thriving in Phoenix is in search of an Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team. This hands-on position will be responsible for overall management and review of all accounting department members and their work. Additionally, candidate must be comfortable handling all aspects of the accounting department and be excited about motivating individuals under the supervision. Working with large revenue a must!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly closing processes for company, including review of recurring and non-recurring journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Ensure financial statements are in the compliance with corporate policies and US GAAP
• Multi-functional accounting leadership and oversight
• Supervision of staff
• Compliance with SOX financial reporting guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA preferred
• CPA required
• 8 years experience in Accounting
• Supervisory experience for large corporation / large department
• Extensive knowledge and application of GAAP/FASB
• Direct involvement in systems implementation, a plus
• High degree of computer experience with the ability to adapt to any software changes necessary
